Keynote Presenters: Luis Blanco and John Wilcox

John and Luis are cofounders of Diatech Diabetes, a company developing medical software products that enhance the quality of life for people living with diabetes. Both graduated from Florida State University and represented FSU at the 2018 ACC InVenture Prize. Since then, they have worked at Diatech full-time and have completed numerous national accelerator programs, secured funding from the National Institutes of Health’s SBIR program, and raised $2,000,000 in recent Seed funding to support their business’ growth. Most importantly, John and Luis share personal connections to diabetes, which drives their steadfast commitment to their work. John and Luis will share with you their journey of starting a company straight out of college and offer advice on what it takes to build a successful startup as you consider growing your own companies after graduation.

ACC InVenture Prize Final Round Broadcast

Broadcast LIVE from PBS television studios to affiliates in regions across ACC university campuses and online. All teams will field a final crucial question from our judges in order to determine once and for all which teams take the 1st and 2nd prizes, and which team is voted most popular in People’s Choice.
